This little beauty is as tough as steel. She’ll do fine living in Colorado. She lasted an entire outdoor session in the chilly temperatures in good spirits. It was a pleasure photographing her and her laid-back parents.

This family lucked out with reasonably warm weather for their November session. It’s been pretty cold for most of my outdoor sessions recently so we definitely enjoyed a little less chill in the air. And the boys were just great – well behaved and happy!

These three boys are always a treat to photograph – full of smiles and charm. And they’re so darned cute!
Some more pictures from my recent Holiday Mini-Session Weekend.
I really enjoyed photographing these 5 siblings during my holiday mini-session weekend. And how do you like my new wicker couch? I had a great time posing families on it!
This family had an outdoor session scheduled and were really fortunate to have beautiful snow falling. But, it was a bit too cold for the little one so we went into the warm studio for the rest of the session.
When I do Fall Color sessions, I schedule the session far in advance and then find a colorful grove with good light when the session time comes. This family lucked into this beautiful grove with big Aspen trees for their session. The mom is one of my heroes – she’s been the girl scout leader of my daughter’s troop for 9 years and she’s still going strong!
This mom has wanted a family session for a while and her family picked a very special birthday to give her a family portrait session for a gift. We had a wonderful session!
And an added bonus is that the dad is an avid local geocacher just like we are!

This family really lucked out. They had their session next to Bear Creek 3 days before it was all under water. Now this area is closed due to extensive flood damage. I’ve photographed these kids lots of times and love their enthusiasm for life!
This family won a session at a silent auction down the hill and was treated to absolutely beautiful mountain weather for their mountain session. And we had wildflowers for a bonus!
