Any Colorado residents out there know that the Fall colors season has been very unusual this season. 15 degree temps and a couple snow falls have definitely dampened the colors. Since all the good leaves were prematurely gone, I went searching for a new morning location for this session and stumbled across this gem! The grass colors were gorgeous and there were still some tint of yellow to the trees and bushes, all right next to a beautiful stream and rock walls.

I always enjoy this returning family. Some of my favorite newborn pictures feature their sons. Their three boys had a great time enjoying some unusually warm weather!

Man oh man it’s been a cold October! This family came prepared with winter coats, hats and hot chocolate and it’s a good thing they did. It was cold and frosty! This was my third pair of twins this fall and they did a great job of dealing with the cold – Colorado kids!

I’ve known the oldest one of these three kids for a long time! When she was a baby, she was one of my first models as I practiced various studio techniques and window lighting. So it was very fun for me to photograph her again and now her sister and brother! Another great session with beautiful lighting and happy kids.

I just love pictures of kids throwing leaves in the air, so I was psyched to find piles of aspen leaves just waiting to be displaced in this session. These kids were a true joy to photograph, giggling and bouncing through the whole session.
