One of the nice things about having both of my kids on the same school schedule (middle school and high school) is that it is easier to slip in those morning mini-sessions when the yearbook deadline is nearing. A long time ago, this senior boy actually lived in the house that we bought 11 years ago. It’s a small world in our small community.

There was a serious lightning storm in the middle of this session that was, um, just a little bit scary! But we got some good shots before and after. This young man was great to photograph – very mellow and easy to get along with.

This young man shared his senior pictures session with his younger brother who just celebrated turning one. So cute! I am in love with the pictures of the two of them together. The other 3 siblings are girls so these two hold a special bond.

This young lady is probably the most dynamic, smiley person I’ve ever photographed. She is full of smiles and giggles and movement. Definitely a fun and different session.

It was so much fun photographing this high school senior. She is big time into rodeo and wanted to be photographed with her two horses. So we had part of the session on her property with the horses and then went to a local park for some aspen shots. Such a great session! 🙂

It was freeeeezing during this session – low 30s with some snow on the ground. But you would never know it from looking at these pictures. This is one tough senior and it was a pleasure to photograph her on this frosty morning.

So my theory of lots of kids (4 or more) in a family still holds true. I think the more kids, the more likely to be better behaved and this family fit right into my theory! These kids giggled their way through this session – really. And their Mom did a fantastic job of picking our their outfits. Loved this combo session!

This senior had a great selection of clothes for his senior pictures and there were some nice fall colors in the leaves as well! He was awesome to work with – very kind and respectful.
