I first photographed this family in 2011 in a great Fall Colors session. It’s amazing how much kids change in 4 years! I enjoyed having them for a Holiday Mini-session this year. Great kids!

Giving Thanks

This was a beautiful session in more ways than one. This extended family lives together all working to care for these sweet 2 year old twins who were born quite prematurely two years ago. One of the twins has spent the majority of her life in the hospital, is blind and is usually on a ventilator. She recently came home from the hospital and they decided to celebrate with a portrait session to give thanks for these two sweet girls being home for the holidays.

Well there is certainly a lot of awesome gift-giving going on around Evergreen. This husband gave this session to his wife this year. They had never had family portraits done and decided it was time. Super nice family and sweet teenage boys.

New clients for holiday mini-sessions

Typically my holiday mini-sessions are returning clients who aren’t ready for another full session and would just like some pictures for the holiday. But this family is a new client who has seen my work at the rec center and got on my mailing list. So glad to meet them and their lovely kids!

My Google Calendar deleted this session so I booked another session in its spot. Whoops! Thankfully the mom called me asking a question and we got the session back on the calendar for the same day. It was a great session with a great family who was very sweet and forgiving of my mistake!

I’ve been capturing this little fellow’s first year of life in multiple sessions, enjoying all his milestones. But I’m not the only one who has enjoyed watching this little guy grow. He has 4 older siblings who just love to dote on him. Two of his sisters came to this session and we had some sweet cuddle shots.

This Dad bought a gift certificate for his wife for a present. What a wonderful gift! We had a great combo session and I know this Mom loves her portraits!

I’ve photographed this older sister before including Boo in the Hills. She’s so smiley. Now I had the pleasure of meeting her new little sister who is full of personality. 🙂

I have photographed this family almost every year for about a decade. They are always smiling and laughing – so much fun to be around!
