I usually shoot 1-2 family reunions on Thanksgiving week and on Christmas week. This reunion had beautiful snowy conditions (and a lot of COLD too!). So we took as many as possible outside and then moved into the toasty warm studio. Fun crowd!

This family found out about me long ago through a mutual friend in Alaska and have been coming to me ever since. Their kids are always so well behaved and happy. I do little side kicks of joy when they call to book a session.

This was the sweetest family! They are preparing to welcome a new member to their family and wanted to capture this time in their life. And they are also the toughest family! It was 11 degrees out for this session! Brrrrr!

I loved this session because it was a celebration of so many things. We did senior portraits for their high school senior. We did baby portraits for their new baby. And we did family portraits to celebrate their family being all together for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Many many years ago when I got my first studio lights, I was also participating in a weekly running group where half of us would go running while the other half watched the babies and toddlers. And then switch. This mom was also in my running group and I tested out my new lights on her sweet baby girl who was just learning to pull herself up. They’ve been coming to me ever since for pictures and it’s always so great to see them!
