I brought this young man into my studio because I wanted to experiment and challenge myself as an artist. He was the perfect model since not only does he photograph well but he has infinite patience (and so does his mom!) and he has tremendous respect for others. He is also an incredible martial artist – in fact I had to work around his black belt practice to schedule the session.

Kindness

When I was young my family frequently loaded up the station wagon and drove from Tennessee to Colorado. While there, I had a cousin who was always so sweet and kind to me. Move forward a bunch of years and I recently had the opportunity to repay her kindness by photographing her beautiful daughter. Thank you Michelle.
