I had a ton of fun shooting this sweet couple recently. They are both in theater and kept me laughing the whole session. 🙂

When this mom was 12 years old, her mother had a painting made of her portrait and her siblings’ 12 year old pictures as well. So when this mom’s son turned 12, she decided to continue the tradition with a portrait session and subsequent painting made of one of her son’s portraits. I love hearing about everyone’s family traditions!

I just loved all the cowboy props this mom brought along for her 2 month old son’s session. We did some outside cowboy pictures and then went inside the studio for something completely different.

This mom is my new hero. She was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant and she and the baby endured two surgeries and chemotherapy. Such a wonderful family and such a strong, positive mom.
